As a member of our Development Team, the Java Developer will play a key role in the design and development of an online financial system for a leading brand. The selected individual will have the following responsibilities:

• Gather and understand business requirements of new projects
• Design and implement software components based on business requirements
• Conduct tests to ensure system stability and recoverability
• Communicate progress and problems to management
• Stay current with advances in technology in area(s) of expertise

Job Requirements:

• Computer science degree or equivalent
• Proven experience in Java Development
• Experience in database design and SQL; MySQL a plus
• Ability to make educated design decisions
• Discipline to follow procedures and provide a complete deliverable
• Strong communication skills
