EntroPay now available from DataCash

January 2008

DataCash, one of the UK's leading payment services providers, now offers EntroPay virtual VISA solutions as a payment option to online merchants. The move gives DataCash's clients a private and universally-accepted payment system.

Growth in online sales is likely to be dampened by concerns about identity theft. Now, DataCash merchants can use EntroPay to offer a safe and convenient alternative to everyday credit and debit cards.

Ixaris sponsors Ferrari car at Silverstone

Under its EntroPay brand, Ixaris co-sponsored two races of Italian driver Sandro Mucelli at Ferrari's prestigious Trofeo Pirelli series at Silverstone, UK, in early June. Ixaris founder and CEO Dr Alex Mifsud said: "We're proud to sponsor Sandro's Ferrari which embodies EntroPay's brand values of global reach, innovative technology and speed."

The Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli is a race series open exclusively to Ferrari clients and allows them to experience some of the most demanding race circuits in Europe.

Ixaris moves to new UK Headquarters

November 2006

Due to company growth, Ixaris found it could no longer house all its UK staff in its existing premises. We have now moved to a more spacious and well-equipped corporate headquarters a few streets away.

Our new premises are close to Regent Street, in the heart of London's Media and Technology district. Oxford Circus Tube station is a short walk away, and access via bus or taxi is also very easy.

Our new postal address is given at the foot of every page of this site.

Ixaris appoints new Operations Division Manager

June 2006

Ixaris is pleased to announce that Martin Azzopardi, formerly Head of Card Services at Bank Of Valletta, has been appointed as Operations Division Manager, based at Ixaris' R&D and Operations facility in Malta.

Martin's extensive banking and financial experience will allow him to make an important contribution to our operations in the crucial areas of quality assurance, customer service and fraud prevention.

Ixaris starts 2006 in good health

After being billed by Real Business magazine as one of the 50 British companies to watch in 2005, Ixaris has indeed had a busy year and is entering 2006 well-placed to continue the treble digit growth it has sustained over the past 12 months.

Ixaris Malta has a new home

Since its inception Ixaris' R&D and Operations facility in Malta has gone from strength to strength, to the point where it outgrew its original premises.

Ixaris Malta has recently settled in to a much larger dedicated building in the exclusive Ta' Xbiex area of Malta. This ex-embassy office offers a luxurious environment, improved facilities for staff and significant room for expansion.

Ixaris announces new EntroPay enhancements

Ixaris is pleased to announce a further upgrade to its EntroPay service available at www.entropay.com. The EntroPay website now has a completely new visual style with improved clarity and ease of navigation, this being backed by significant enhancements to usability and functionality once users log into their accounts.

Ixaris EntroPay One Of The 50 To Watch

Ixaris EntroPay has been named one of the "50 to Watch" for 2005 by Real Business magazine. At the start of each year Real Business names the fifty businesses it sees as having the brightest prospects for the year and we are pleased to announce that this year Ixaris' EntroPay product has made the list.

Ixaris announces enhancements to EntroPay

Ixaris receives follow-on SMART grant

Ixaris was today awarded a further grant by the UK Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), following its successful SMART feasibility project. The follow-on grant was awarded based on the innovative nature of Ixaris work and will allow significant enhancements to be added to the EntroPay solution. This enhancements will enable Ixaris to address significant new markets and enhance the security and privacy of users of our existing EntroPay solution.

Ixaris secures additional funding round

June 2004

Ixaris has recently secured a second round of funding from Lacomp plc, as an investee of their EIS qualifying British Enterprise Fund 3. Lacomp plc is an independent fund and portfolio manager with an excellent reputation among financial institutions both in the UK and abroad.

Commenting on the investment, Ixaris CEO Alex Mifsud said "We are extremely pleased to have secured this investment from such a prestigious funding source. It will allow us to expand our sales and marketing activity and to develop our exciting product pipeline".

Ixaris awarded contract to rewrite Orbian's transaction engine

April 2004

Ixaris has been awarded a contract by financial services firm Orbian to rewrite Orbian's transaction engine.

The transaction engine is being developed at Ixaris' Malta R&D subsidiary Ixaris Malta, which has been growing steadily in the past few months.

Ixaris CEO, Alex Mifsud, commented "We are delighted to have won this contract against well-known competitors. We have invested to develop highly efficient software development processes to deliver this contract."

Ixaris launches EntroPay

Ixaris today launched EntroPay, its flagship prepaid online payment solution.

With an EntroPay account, users can prepay funds and then spend them anywhere on the Internet that VISA is accepted. EntroPay offers privacy, protection and control - situations where this could be important include:

• Buying from merchants that give cause for concern
• Buying goods or services that are of a private nature
• Making purchases at sites that would not previously accept the user's own card

With EntroPay users have complete peace of mind: personal credit card details are kept private and purchases are never shown on statements. The user can also keep there identity private.

Ixaris receives small e-money issuer certification

Ixaris today received small e-money issuer certification from the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA). As a result, Ixaris can now operate its SmartPay online payment solution on behalf of its customers, which are typically promoters of trusted consumer brands.

To take deposits from end-users SmartPay operators would require FSA authorisation; however, Ixaris can now fulfil this function and can therefore offer significantly reduced implementation timeframes for companies wishing to deploy SmartPay.

Ixaris awarded smart grant from UK Department of Trade & Industry

Ixaris was today awarded a Smart grant by the UK Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). The grant will be used to support a nine-month feasibility study into new online privacy and convenience software. The results of the study will strengthen Ixaris' current product portfolio.
